This was one of those jobs when I received the files that I squealed with delight. This illustration is awesome, to say the least and we were so excited to be printing it for Tiny Twiggette. Lynn was so fabulous to work with and has some beautiful design work herself. These were printed on lettra 220# paper, in ecru. Pantone matched and printed as a 1/1, this is a perfect example of how a minimalist design and single ink color can be just as impacting with out all the hooplah of a billion press colors or changes. Sized at 2×3.5″ and printed as an initial set of 250 (our minimum opening order for a set of custom or client submitted files) you can get an estimate for yourself here – we are already booking the press for February and March!

People are SO smart…or at least they think they are! After Hazel was ruled out, I defaulted to my next favorite, Evelyn, and the minute she was born she was my sweet Evelyn Marie. In a world of perfect pregnancies, painless labors, mental stability and anti-aging bodies – I would love to have a few more babies. Wouldn’t it be so cute to have a little Frankie and Georgie (Francis and Georgia) running around the …

These proofs for Brittany are in the final stages of implementation. After presenting her logos for her branding package, brittany narrowed it down and we indicated options and alternatives from the scheme she had selected. What is your favorite? Upon completing her branding and refinement with typography, colormetrics and styling, we presented business card layouts for Brittany in The Euro 1.5×3.5″, The Square 2.5×2.5″, and Standard 2×3.5″. So you all know my love for Lisa Ridgely’s calligraphy. I don’t know what it is about her style, except that it really is SO unique. I’m always peeking over at her blog and recently she’s opened a shop on Big Cartel with a staggering collection of downloadable calligraphy content for personal use. As you may have seen my calligraphy calling cards before, I’m trying to expand the product to different calligraphy styles so you can order what suits your fancy. Lisa was kind enough to do my Mom’s name for me so I could give these to her on Mother’s Day. They turned out so awesome though, that in the end I couldn’t wait – SO Mom got them early! If you’ll notice on her card she has a new email – here at Dingbat Press! Come back around on Friday …

With Mother’s Day around the further corner (I know Easter hops in first) I’ve been thinking about our addition to the brood and how my own mother has been such a great influence in my life. We almost lost her last December and I am constantly thinking about how life would be without her. I’ve been working on this vintageous line for awhile now and felt it was time to unveil one of my favorites in honor of my amazing mom who was not only thoughtful, but showed her love through action as well. Available as a single in the shop now!
