    Another Minimalist Calling Card that shipped out recently, these were printed on 110# lettra cotton paper in gray ink, and paired with an orangish/papaya edge paint. Sets start at $99 and go up from there if you want custom add-ins like an edge paint or calling card sleeves.

    aspen escort tags

    I’ve been doing small letterpress jobs for some late summer and early fall brides. These were a custom color order inspired by the aspen tags I printed awhile ago in orange. Here’s the escort tags, to be hung on branches with the guest’s name in calligraphy.

    Combo Boxed Notes

    When I first started printing letterpress notes I offered them in combo sets. I couldn’t unload them at all, people kept requesting them in single pattern sets. They sold off eventually as split orders. It seems the tides have changed yet again and now I’m getting more and more requests for combo sets these days. So without further adeu, I introduce the combo set from the Entomologie line.

    Since high school graduations are happening across the country today I thought I’d show these before I let the weekend take over. These shipped out this last week and are available here for purchase if you still need to get some out. Customizable with your wording, ink and envelope colors.

    Whether it’s college, high school or pre-school, graduation almost always signifies the end of one era and the beginning of another for those involved. For all of you moving on in 2009, congratulations to a job well done! This summer marks my own 10th year high school reunion, which seems so long ago, yet also feels like yesterday. I admit, I am still a baby with much to learn. Here’s to the next 10 years – I wonder what will be in store, and where life will take me. To humor you all…Here are the first and last pictures I’ll ever post of myself so chuckle away!

    Aspen Wedding, Autumn

    With summer barely getting under way here, it’s hard for me to start imagining autumn and the impending snow it will bring for the following 7 months. For brides planning weddings for that season though, I have to admit I have a special attachment to fall weddings. Our 9th anniversary is on October 20th, and aspen leaves were a dominant theme in our big event. We had about 25-30 aspen trees put in the reception hall and they were lit like an enchanted forest with white Christmas lights (imagine the forest of gold from the 12 Dancing Princesses – that’s what our reception looked like).

    As I’m expanding my wedding line I’m taking designs that have worked for my clients in numerous variations and have adapted them into their own collections. If you remember the blossom invitations I’ve done in the past here and here, then you’ll be excited to learn that I’ve adapted it into a Seasons collection. Below is the Aspen Suite, and as a little sample of what it’s potential could be I’ve printed some Aspen tags measuring 2×6″ that are now available here. Enjoy!

    I don’t know about you, but I LOVE Oscar Wilde’s writings. This note is another from the Vintageous set available for wholesale or in the shop as a single and as boxed notes in a set of 6. 4bar, printed in silver/orange this gal comes paired with orange envelopes and the quote reads (for all those American women out there):

    I don’t know if you’ve seen the Victoria’s Secret Pink Organic line but I just love the handwritting on the packaging. It reminds me of a little something I’ve done myself ;)

    Fluttering away.

    Spring seems to be fluttering away here with the 2 feet of snow we got over the weekend that covered everything up again. Even my husband is disgusted with the snow, which is rare in and of itself. I was so excited to show you these, and now it seems I am jumping the gun but who really cares!

    With Mother’s Day around the further corner (I know Easter hops in first) I’ve been thinking about our addition to the brood and how my own mother has been such a great influence in my life. We almost lost her last December and I am constantly thinking about how life would be without her. I’ve been working on this vintageous line for awhile now and felt it was time to unveil one of my favorites in honor of my amazing mom who was not only thoughtful, but showed her love through action as well.
