So I’ve posted proofs here and here for a summer letterpress invitation suite for Kirstin. This was another design presented as a minimalist night sky. The fiance is studying aerospace engineering and initially we discussed the option of astrology, however the fiance wasn’t too keen on the astrology theme. Instead we pursued the night sky in a more abstract way, utilizing negative space and texture (keeping in mind that it would look stellar letterpressed) and used it to our advantage. Typography in this one is getting closer to what Kirstin was looking for as well as getting closer to a nature theme that reflected the event and their lifestyle.
