In continuation with A = Art Deco Here’s a cheap DIY project that would be great for any Art Deco event. How about replacing your maids bouquets with these, or doing them as a party favor for a little girl’s birthday party! They could even hang from the back of your dinner chairs at this price! Feathers + Chinese folding fans = easy! Tools needed*: glue gun | glue sticks | scissors Materials needed: peacock feathers | felt (not too much is needed) | wooden folding fans (or another fan of your choice). Step 1: Trim 6 peacock feathers with good sharp scissors around the eye. I’ve always loved unique hair fascinators, and without a doubt WhichGoose has to be one of my favorite Etsy sellers. This was a custom order for Evelyn for her Easter dress, and now you can see the whole ensemble.I just can’t get enough of the pom poms. I still have to sew the jacket but am happy the dress even fit since I spent all last Saturday night sewing it without a pattern! AND, it’s reversable: Thank you Britex Fabric for buying awesome Japanese brocade! Now I’m just kicking myself since I didn’t get enough yardage for a little something pretty for me.
