So you’ve been waiting for the final studio shots – we’ve almost finished the last of the trim so maybe for a thanksgiving treat on Thursday I’ll be able to post it. Hello my name is Matt and welcome to Business Friday.  More on Business Friday to follow, but by way of introduction I am a relatively new member here of the Dingbat Press team, one who you may be familiar with if you’ve requested an estimate from our form or otherwise emailed us looking for some letterpress goodness.  I’ll be posting every now and then on the blog to mix things up a bit. These proofs for Brittany are in the final stages of implementation. After presenting her logos for her branding package, brittany narrowed it down and we indicated options and alternatives from the scheme she had selected. What is your favorite? Upon completing her branding and refinement with typography, colormetrics and styling, we presented business card layouts for Brittany in The Euro 1.5×3.5″, The Square 2.5×2.5″, and Standard 2×3.5″. These were bid out as a 2/0 letterpress printed card and whatever she chooses will so rock!

Late this summer Mindi contacted us regarding updating her business identity. She creates high-end confections that really are quite amazing. Attention to detail and only the best of ingredients used, we wanted to help refine her brand so it fit her target demographic better. Ruby Cakes has a lot of heritage behind it, with rubies being the birth stone, and Mindi’s royal ancestry it was only fitting to tie it all in together. She purchased a large branding package which consisted of extended rounds of design options, application to other pieces, and finally printing of those pieces via the letterpress process. Hey guys and dolls! Plates arrived late and today’s scheduled giveaway is postponed until next week – but I didn’t want to leave you hanging! It was our big 10th anniversay on October 20th, and I can’t believe another year has gone by and we haven’t killed each other. I don’t know all the tricks to a good marriage but was thinking about one of the best parts – the kiss and make-up which inspired this print. Have any of you ever felt this way?
