    I’ve been doing small letterpress jobs for some late summer and early fall brides. These were a custom color order inspired by the aspen tags I printed awhile ago in orange. Here’s the escort tags, to be hung on branches with the guest’s name in calligraphy.

    Real Business: Wendy Torello

    Wendy was a blast to work with on these. For her letterpress card, she was looking for a modern symmetrical design with a little bit of style mixing. Something classy and sophisticated but that didn’t scream wedding photographer. It was important for this card to address both aspects of the photography genres she represents. By day she’s a photo-journalist with mad skillz behind the lens. She has also been breaking into the wedding market more regularly so she needed something that worked for both clients. Here are proofs from the various round we went through, expect to see the final piece in a few days time!

    How I doth love thee – when we’re apart, my heart does surely bleed! I don’t know what it is about Delia’s but I’ve been a fan since the wee age of 13. You’d think I’d grow out of this tween/teenangester clothing line now that I have three children but every couple of years or so I check out their website and fall in love with them all over again. Maybe I’m a rebel at heart. Maybe I still look for youth in such a serious adult life, whatever it may be, I know for certain -

    Combo Boxed Notes

    When I first started printing letterpress notes I offered them in combo sets. I couldn’t unload them at all, people kept requesting them in single pattern sets. They sold off eventually as split orders. It seems the tides have changed yet again and now I’m getting more and more requests for combo sets these days. So without further adeu, I introduce the combo set from the Entomologie line.
